This module aims to help students achieve the following:

• To understand the key issues and debates in the study of political behaviour
• To develop a grasp of the literature that underpins this subfield of political science and an ability to think critically about the concepts and models employed within this literature
• To understand broad trends in political behaviour and the models and tools that political scientists have developed to explain them
• To gain a strong understanding of debates in the study of political participation
